Prayer Ministry

An active and dynamic prayer ministry is vital for the survival and growth of each believer individually and the church corporately.
Our prayer ministry is diverse in its form which involves:

fasting

Ezra 8:23
So, we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.

Fasting Prayer

Every month, second Saturday at 9.30 AM (to 11.00 AM)

Fasting will help us to have more intimate relationship with Christ. It will help us to overcome sin, bad habits, and help open our eyes to things that are displeasing to God in our life. Fasting and prayer is a time to separate ourself from our regular patterns and things of the world and come closer to the Lord.

As church family we come together to pray for the needs of the world and the church—its’ members; thus, we support each other especially the sick, the fragile and the weak in various aspects. We fervently pray for all prayer requests that are made by individuals and families. Maintaining confidentiality is our priority, if and as needed, in such prayers. There is also a time of thanks giving as our prayers are answered.

Cottage Prayer

Last Saturday of every month at 6.00 PM

‘Gathering from house to house breaking bread, praising God, sharing and eating their food with glad and generous hearts was the experience of the early church. Following this practice, the members of the church take turns to host such gatherings and extend hospitality which in part also reflect our Tamil culture. Sharing the word of God in bible study and prayers particularly for the family are integral part of the gathering.

Acts 5:42
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.

WOMEN

Proverbs 31:29
Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates

Women's Fellowship

First Friday of every month at 7.00 PM

‘The women’s fellowship conducted in church is a wonderful opportunity for women to come together and deepen their understanding of the Bible. Every month, these women gather to engage in a Bible study session where they delve into various passages of the scripture and explore the context, meaning, and significance of each verse. Through lively and insightful discussions, the women share their thoughts and insights on the text, supporting one another and encouraging deeper reflection. This fellowship provides a supportive and nurturing environment for women to grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible, as well as build strong and meaningful relationships with one another. It is a beautiful way for women to connect with God, each other, and the wider community.’
